About Me

The formal stuff:
I have been a registered psychologist with AHPRA since 2017 and am a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician. I am a member of the Australia and New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED) and the National Eating Disorders Collaboration (NEDC). I have completed a Master of Psychology (Counselling), Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), and a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) on my journey to registration.

In addition to my private practice, I currently work as a senior psychologist within an Eating Disorder Specialty Service within a public health service. I have worked in a number of different settings, including in a youth mental health service, a specialist eating disorder clinic, providing group and individual DBT-focussed treatment, and in private practice. My work has included providing both therapy and assessment services, and I was involved with the establishment of peer support services within a youth mental health service. I have additionally presented training on eating disorders and complex trauma.

The fun stuff:
Outside of my work, I enjoy building Lego, creating digital art, and am an on and off (very) casual gamer. I can often been found with a coffee in hand and my favourite food is hot chips. My hair is currently a rainbow and I change the colour every year!

I enjoy a good meme and like to think I have a good sense of humour (friends and family might disagree). I am owned by two cats who get away with most things.
The less fun stuff:
I have lived experience of disability, complex chronic illness, and late diagnosed neurodiversity. I have a diagnosis of Ehlers Danlos Syndome (EDS) with severe gastric dysmotility and I have lived/living experience of feeding differences, specifically living with a feeding tube. Additionally, I also have several comorbidities frequently associated with EDS. I have first hand experience of the difficulties with navigating the healthcare system with an undiagnosed condition, and receiving and adjusting to a chronic diagnosis. I have been featured on a podcast discussing my lived experience as a psychologist and person with a disability.
